This is the tried and true, original farmers’ market scone recipe, and where the legend of the Block Island Scone Lady all began.  Made from 100% all natural ingredients  including fresh, real butter.  These scones are moist, flavorful and perfectly textured. We can be sure,  you have never had a scone as good!

All you need to add is a half-cup of liquid ( we suggest milk, or juice that matches the flavor) and 1 beaten egg.

Product Description

This is the tried and true, original farmers’ market scone recipe, and where the legend of the Block Island Scone Lady all began.  Made from 100% all natural ingredients (just like all of our flavored scones too), including fresh, real butter.  These scones are moist, flavorful and perfectly textured. We can be sure,  you have never had a scone as good!  (We apologize to all those bakers out there who bake their own scones but, we are certain you will be equally impressed!).

This is the perfect starter mix to add your own ingredients and create your own spin on the original Block Island Scone.  We have heard several suggestions, including jalapeno and cheddar, garlic and chive, rosemary and lemon. Come up with your own creation and let us know in our comments box.

I made blueberry scones, which was my first attempt. I purchased frozen blueberries because the cost of fresh, at the time, was really high. They were delicious. I drizzled a little powder sugar/water, on the top. Right out of the oven, they were incredible. I took some to work the next day and they were still great, a day old.
